Chris Bungay is the firm’s founder and managing partner. He is an experienced trial lawyer. Over the past decade, he has appeared in BC’s Courts over 50 times representing injured plaintiffs and other clients. Chris is also a skilled negotiator. He has appeared in over 75 mediations, and has settled hundreds of claims on behalf of the victims of auto accidents and other disabled citizens of BC.
Chris is originally from Nova Scotia, and has been a resident of BC for the past 12 years. Since he moved to the west coast, he has taken up snowboarding and surfing. He currently resides in East Vancouver where he lives with his wife, Marette, and their twin babies, Benjamin and Samantha.
Jessica Hames is an associate lawyer at Bungay Law Office. Her practice is focused exclusively on personal injury law and ICBC car accident claims. Jessica completed her undergraduate degree at Simon Fraser University, where she graduated with First Class Honours, and she obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria, where she was awarded the Fasken Martin DuMoulin LLP prize in Employment Law. Jessica participated in the law co-op program during law school, completing work terms at the BC Ministry of Justice, the Federal Department of Justice, and two private practice law firms. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys music, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. Jessica is a member of the Law Society of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC.
Elizabeth Lepik is an associate lawyer at Bungay Law Office. Her practice areas include personal injury law and ICBC car accident claims. Elizabeth obtained her law degree from the University of Alberta. Elizabeth has represented clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys a number of outdoor activities including running, hiking, tennis, and skiing. Elizabeth is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Trial Lawyers of British Columbia and the Law Society of British Columbia.
Katharine is an associate lawyer at Bungay Law Office. She obtained her law degree from the University of Manitoba. Her practice areas include personal injury law and ICBC car accident claims. Katharine has represented clients in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of B.C. In her spare time Katharine enjoys running and travelling to Mayne Island in the Gulf Islands where she was born and raised. Katharine is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers’ Association of BC.
Ryan is an associate lawyer at Bungay Law Office. He obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor. As a law student, Ryan represented clients in Court and defended their interests. Specifically, he helped people in court who did not have the financial means to hire a lawyer. As a practicing lawyer, Ryan represents clients with serious injuries from car accidents. He advances their interests and fights ICBC to make sure they receive proper compensation. In a former life, Ryan played for several baseball leagues throughout the Vancouver area. He was an excellent pitcher who played at a highly competitive level. Ryan spends his spare time running, hiking and volunteering for a community centre. He is fluent in Japanese.
Courtney Morrison is a Client Care Specialist at Bungay Law Office. She grew up in North Vancouver and obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria. While attending law school, Courtney was actively involved in pro bono legal work. She provided free legal services and advice to those in need. Courtney is also training to be a lawyer with Bungay Law, and is currently articling with our firm. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys hiking, running, sky diving and bungee jumping.
